Welcome to mysterious world of haunted places in Bangalore. Bangalore, famous for its IT companies, and universities, is a city that never sleeps. On one side, you have Electronic city bustling with software companies and start-ups, working tirelessly day and night. But on the other side, there are places with eerie stories that defy explanation.
When I think of GHOSTS, I can’t help but recall characters like Lord Voldemort from Harry potter or the tales our grandparents told us about spirits under the tamarind trees. Even in today’s world of science and technology, I’m left wondering if dark spirits are real. I find myself in a dilemma, torn between belief and scepticism, knowing that where good spirits exist, so do the bad ones.
Here, let’s explore the haunting stories from a city known for its progress, taking a journey through the haunted history of Bangalore.

1. Kalpalli Cemetery: The creepy Ghost
Cemetery itself makes me feel it must be haunted and this Cemetery itself is a haunted place in Bangalore. Kalpalli Cemetery as well as St. John’s Cemetery, is the main crematorium for the Eastern part of Bangalore from many years.
Cemetery itself scares me from childhood, but here at Kalpalli Cemetery will scare you more than the other ones. Whoever passes by this cemetery usually said that they had seen man standing alone and disappears all at a sudden. Dude most of the times i myself got scared seeing my own shadow at nights, while walking alone. Few others said strange man who wanders around the graves and vanishes when approached. In a few instances, the air was so intense near some graves that people had difficulty in breathing.
Can we say it’s highly impossible? Sorry, even I’m confused to.

2. Victoria Hospital: It’s less spoken Mortuary
Usually, hospitals are seen as temples, doctors as gods as many lives are saved and newborns come out. But Victoria hospital in Bangalore carries its own haunted story from many years.
Unlike Kalpalli Cemetery, here the ghost has a good opinions from the visitors. Yes, you need to see hear this out, the people say that here the ghost doesn’t scares the people. The stories says, a women died in the hospital a few decades ago, has become spirit and hangs out on the tree of the hospital premises.
Instead of scaring out the people here the spirit steals the food of the visitors. Hey please someone convince me saying that it’s a joke, Sorry but this is what the guards say there.
Hence if you are visiting here please try to save your food from the foodie spirit.

3. Bangalore Airport: Busiest & scariest
Usually, when someone wants to speak about the airports, they either say it’s busiest or it’s has a good service. But it’s different with Bangalore International Airport, here they also call it as scariest one.
From the staff to visitors and from pilots to cab drivers, says that they can see a lady in white sari. Yes it’s true, here the lady even has appeared in front the infrared cameras of the airport. It’s very peculiar that even though no harm had happened, people claim it appears and vanishes out.
Even few others says that they had also seen headless spirits at the escalator in the airport, which still remains a mystery.
Whatever be the stories, I think she must be a foreigner who lost her passport and stuck in there, hey it’s just a joke.

4. Terra Vera: Haunted bungalow
I was fond of these old bungalows, due to its big doors and impressive architectures. And I also used to say, I will build one like this in the future for us with my parents.
Without a doubt, one of Bangalore’s most haunting locations is the historic home Terra Vera. Dolce and Vera Vaj’s father, EJ Vaj, built the house in 1943. Dolce, a piano instructor, was brutally murdered by an anonymous perpetrator in 2002, and her body was buried on the property. After her sister passed away, Vera left the house, taking with her all of the valuable items, including a vintage car and furniture.
Since then, the house is frequently filled with occult symbols like inverted crosses, spooky sounds, and strange sights. Those that entered to take shots of the automobile and furniture returned with damaged photos and dead batteries.
The ground where this manor previously stood is still experiencing paranormal activity despite the fact that the haunted home has been dismantled.
Hence it is demolished, we may not see that. But still the stories will continued to be heard.

5. National Highway No. 4 – Scariest Road
Highways and ghost stories go hand in hand. Numerous passengers who took the NH4 in Bangalore have reported encountering items along the way that were unexpected.
And even though there have been said to be multiple incidents, one in particular is the most interesting. Around midnight, a man who was traveling down the highway halted to offer a young woman a ride. The girl vanished when he asked her where she wanted to go.
The girl reappeared and began laughing aloud, which is frightening. The man bolted from the area, terrified to death.
Okay now you know this story, so the next time when you come across a similar one on this road just don’t stop. Instead speed up but within the limits to avoid both the spirit and over speed challan from traffic police.
